Abstract
The tide dam is composed of a dam and pipes, and inhibits the development of oxygen-deficient water mass in a bay by the use of tidal potential energy. For applications of the tide dam, there are a lot of problems to be solved. In this paper, the following problems became clear. (1) The relation between the dimension of pipes and the water flux of jet flow. (2) Vertical mixing and despersion in a bay due to the jet flow of the tide dam.
