Abstract
Effect of dipyridamole on vasoconstrictry responses to norepinephrine and adenosine was examined in the dog renal circulation. Dipyridamole potentiated the responses not only to adenosine but also to norepinephrine, when dipyridamole was infused at relatively low concentrations (0.05 to 0.3 μg/ml of perfused blood). When the concentration of dipyridamole was elevated, these potentiation were less significant and finnaly it became control level. These results indicates that these potentiation are caused through the unknown mechanism which can not be explained by the previously reported hypotheses.
