Abstract
In this paper, we discuss attribute reduction basedon variable precision rough sets.So far, beta-reduct has been proposed.However, the reduct does not guarantee thepreservation/enhancement of the classification structureinduced from variable precision rough sets.We propose various kinds ofstructure-preserving and structure-enhancingreducts based on variable precision rough sets.It is revealed that weak properties of variableprecision rough sets brought the variety ofdefinitions of reduct.The relations among proposed reductsare investigated.
