Performance of Learning Vector quantization based on psude Class

Abstract

A new method for deciding on the class borders is also proposed to improve the accuracy of clustering using the spherical SOM. The method approximates the border on the SOM from nearest neighbor data of different classes.In this paper, the advantages of both methods using the spherical SOM, the clustering analysis and the decision on the class borders, are successfully demonstrated with two examples.
