In the teaching of informatics, it is especially important that a careful selection of appropriate teaching materials and method be made. The author has been endeavoring to include both traditional teaching and ICT in teaching materials and method in recent years. This paper discusses the selection of teaching materials and method from both traditional teaching and ICT. A proposal is made for the teaching of hybrid informatics by including traditional teaching and ICT.
