Fundamental Research on Automatic Extraction of Photography Management Categories from Image data of Construction

Abstract

Recently, an electronic delivery of various documents is carried out by Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism in construction field. The image data of construction photography must be delivered and the information of photography management categories also have to be recorded into the documents according to the standard of digital photography management information. However, there is a problem that a lot of costs are needed to input the contents of these categories to documents of electronic delivery from handwritten characters on blackboard into construction photography. Then, in this research, we propose methods for automatically extracting the information of these categories from the image data of construction photography.
