Abstract
The frequency of fall accidents is one of the most serious problems in construction industry in Japan. To prevent these labor accidents, the measures for the fall had been tighten as the institution of guidelines, such as Guideline for Advanced Guardrail Installation Method etc. However, the rate of fatal accidents from falls is still high in the construction industries. Therefore, in this study, the labor accident database by Labor Office were investigated for visualizing the cause of fall accidents and using the safety education in construction industry, and it was found that fall accidents from scaffolds were the most frequent accidents.
