Abstract
The cluster distinction in the liver function data was carried out using spherical SOM. The result was also reconfirmed in a plane SOM. There are 5 items of LDH, gamma-GTP, AST, ALT, and ASP, to the main blood examination of the hepatic function which are checked by the checkup. In the analysis by a spherical SOM, the trend of AST resembles very well to ALT. The both standard values were used respectively, for the normalization. Then, they are added and averaged. As a result, it becomes an examination of the hepatic function by these 4 items. Then, the method were applied to the various liver function data.
