Abstract
The population of lifestyle-related diseases, such as hypertension, diabetes, and so forth, is increasing in not only advanced nations but also developing ones. The phenomena would cause some social concerns such as medical crisis and labor power decline. In responding to the concerns, lifestyle modification by individuals should be essential solution. Lifestyle modification would be currently guided by the ideas from epidemiological studies and clinical studies. They are definitely useful but should be focused on more individualized goals and methods. In order to realize the individualized healthcare, Systems Healthcare has been developed by the authors based on systems approach to discover relationship among lifestyle activities and vital signs. In this article, an application for weight control by lifestyle modification is introduced by employing the large scaled cases of weight control to model the successive time-series weight transition.
