Abstract
In recent years, the application of augmented reality technologies heve been studied in various fields. One of these applicable fields of AR is the medical field. In our laboratory, we have studied AR system which supports an operation by laying the image of ultrasonic diagnostic equipment on top of the real world. However, the conventional recognition technique using AR marker has some problems. For example, this method takes a long time for installing AR markers and does not correspond to occlusion. Therefore, in this study, we propose the system and its algorithm that recognize space only with a camera without using AR markers.
