An image representation by the possibilistic fuzzy clustering about the object classification

Abstract

This paper proposes a new image representation by the possibilistic fuzzy clustering about the object classification. In the image representation, the k-means algorithms is generally used. Our proposal technique is used the possibilistic fuzzy clustering, and adjusts membership width of clusters on the feature distribution. In addition, our technique is based on VLAD image representation. Finally, we compare our technique to recent technique using Caltech101 dataset.
