Abstract
In this paper, we try to examine to what extent the company creed affects the profit. The company creed certainly contains an important message, because it is related to the root of the company. If it is possible to obtain the core factors in the company creeds, we can see what creed is better for the company. To distinguish between company creeds, we used the information-theoretic self-organizing map called "gradual information maximization". The method is good at extracting a few important variables with better visualization. By using this method, we could extract one important word, namely, "society". The companies with higher profit tend to have the company creed containing the word "society". This result suggests that the "social" factor plays a more important role in the company creed.
