Abstract
In our laboratory, the Interactive Chaotic Amusement System (ICAS) using network of chaotic elements have been already developed. We have also studied the calculation method of relaxation degree from the frequency power content ratio and the evaluation of human impression for the relaxation effect of generated sounds. In this research, we try to construct the system to judge the degree of relaxation based on the heart rate variability and to adjust the automatic operation to obtain the relaxation effect by presenting the sound to the user. In this paper, as an advance research on the construction of this system, we analyzed various features of the heartbeat (electrocardiogram) measured in a different state and found an index that judges the relaxation degree by using fuzzy inference. And we performed the experiment to generate a relaxation sound so that the subject might be felt relaxation adopting interactive sound generation system ICAS.
