Abstract
An eye fundus is an only part where a blood vessel can be observed directly from the outside of the human body. The progression of arteriosclerosis can be evaluated by observing the pulse wave of the retinal vessel, because the pulse wave changes according as the progression of arteriosclerosis. We propose in this report a method of pulse wave detection of retinal vessel from eye fundus moving image photographed by SLO (Scanning Laser Opthalmoscope). In the experiments, the pulse wave of the retinal vessel has been successfully detected from the SLO moving image.
