Abstract
An onomatopoeia is a useful expression. It effectively conveys sounds, degree, state and so on. One onomatopoeia has plural meanings. It is known that a new meaning of a onomatopoeia derived from original meanings is frequently added. We are aiming to build a onomatopoeia collocation database by collecting contemporary examples from various kinds of language resources. It will be used for learning of Japanese non-native speaker, or sentence generating process of a dialog system. In this paper, we analyze distribution of modified verbs of onomatopoeia.
