Abstract
AbstractRecently, remote operation support systems have become increasingly important in the management of waste incineration plants. The remote operation support system contributes to energy conservation and operational safely by adjusting control parameters and recommending appropriate operation methods. Normally, operators determine the combustion conditions of waste incineration plants by watching ITV combustion condition, or by identifying trends with a time series data. However, currently, an alarm system using the traditional threshold method is the only way to attract an operator's attention in the case of trouble. Moreover, it is very difficult to keep good combustion conditions over a long period because each operator controls the system in their own way. Therefore, while it is impossible for traditional approaches using the threshold methods, in this study, we are trying to realize an automatic system for the prediction of the combustion conditions by employing a linguistic summarization of the trends in a time series of operating data.
