Abstract
This study extracts problems that are involved in the present volunteer recruitment site of Zweigen Kanazawa and considers design properties so that it can make the site attractive for visitors. We provide two types of web sites: Site A which has a deep hierarchy to make each page compact, Site B which has little hierarchy to make the number of pages small. Then it is examined which is superior on the basis of eyes movement and web log data of site visitors. It is concluded that Site A is suitable for the volunteer recruitment, because visitors having much interest in volunteers can find desired information swiftly and read its contents carefully.
