On Some Possibilistic Clustering Algorithms based on Noise Clustering

Abstract

In this report, some possibilistic clustering methods are proposed based on noise clustering.The standard possibilistic clustering is identical to the standard noise clustering when the cluster number is one, whereas the entropy-regularized possibilistic clustering is different from the entropy-regularized noise clustering.Therefore, another entropy-regularized possibilistic clustering method is constructed from the entropy-regularized noise clustering with the cluster number one, along with proposing some variants.
