Abstract

The development of autonomous driving control system based on human senses is important to realize safe and secure self-driving car.The evaluation of human senses should perform in a real environ- ment however it is difficult to do the experiment in a dangerous situation such as a collision to an obstacle or a person. Therefore, our research target is the development of the test-driving experiment system of the self-driving car safely in the real environment even in a dangerous situation. In this paper, we propose the RaiSS (Real Driving add-in Simulation System) that integrates the actual driving and the virtual driving by simulation. Especially, the virtual driving simulates a dangerous situation. We discuss the effectivity of the proposed method through the test-driving experiment that a car approaches a person.
