Abstract

In this paper, we propose a Hybrid Genetic Algorithm to solve the railway rescheduling problem. Two types of train are considered in the railway system: High-speed train and local train. Differential evolution is combined into the GA mutation process to guide the search for better solutions, and fuzzy logic controller is used to adaptively adjust the crossover and mutation probability. The experimental results show the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm comparing to some of the rescheduling heuristics, and within the same situation, the proposed algorithm can obtain better solution.
