Visualization of Car Driver’s Behavior by Human Body Model in Virtual Reality

Abstract

Safety driving support, handover between self-driving and human driving, automation in driving school, driving skill assessment for senior drivers and their re-training, and so on, are the issues for car driver’s behavior to be captured by a computer-based automated system in real-time that is expected to be more important in near future. In this research, we propose a methodology to visualize car driver’s behavior, which is captured by the computer-based system in real-time, using human body model in virtual reality.
