Similarity Evaluation of Mathematical Formula by Fuzzy Contingency Table and its Application

Abstract

To automatically create mathematical problems, it is necessary to classify not only sentences but also mathematical formulas, but no automatic feature extraction method has been established for sentences containing mathematical formulas. By combining this method with vectorization of sentences in machine learning, we propose a new method to calculate similarity between mathematical problems.
