In this paper, we propose a method of location estimation using a geomagnetic sensor for automatic control of a mini 4WD AI machine. A circle model is created based on the horizontal geomagnetic data obtained during driving, and the machine orientation is estimated using the angle data. Then, the machine’s orientation one step ahead is predicted by using reservoir computing for the angle data, and the position is estimated based on the predicted orientation.
