Study of age determination method on some minerals and glasses by fission-track registration

Abstract

Recent development in fission-track technique has provided geologists and archaeologists with a new promising tool with which to date various igneous rocks or many baked relics. But there exist in actual analysis of the fission track determination several questions still remained. In this study, the effect of various geophysical variables on track formation and stability has been studied.
