Abstract
As an extracurricular activity outside the university credits, we conduct a research study using the case of "Furusato Working Holiday" in which students from outside the region participate. The status of the elderly population and depopulation and the contents of the program were clas-sified by the "related population" of each area of Gifu Prefecture, and the relevance between them is shown here. On top of that, we conducted a research study focusing on the leading-edge cases of Minokamo City, which had a high degree of government involvement in the program and ac-cepted students four times, 25 people each time, for three years from FY2017. It was a hybrid type of "working type" to experience work in the area and "direct contribution type" in which participants contributed to local activities, and it was found that the coordinator functioned effec-tively for both the sender and the receiver. It was confirmed that these unique methods made it possible for the community to accept a certain number of people and that students could build understanding and relationships with the community and gain practical experience during their stay.
