Abstract
A 42-year-old male with abdominal pain and a fever was diagnosed as acute obstructive suppurative cholangitis. An emergency endoscopic sphincterotomy was performed, the common bile duct contained limy bile. The patient's cholangitis improved with the use of an ENBD (endoscopic naso-biliary drainage). However, limy bile continued to be present in the gallbladder. Since the patient refused cholecystectomy, an ENGBD (endoscopic naso-gallbladder drainage) and ENBD were placed using the Haber RAMP catheter. Over time, the limy present in the gallbladder and common bile duct was no longer limy.
