Abstract
EUS-FNA, which was developed in Western countries, is now increasingly performed in Japan. Although the accuracy and safety of EUS-FNA have been established, clinical studies have been conducted to further establish the best clinical practice using EUS-FNA. Here we present an overview of various techniques to increase the diagnostic yield of EUS-FNA.
