Abstract
The present paper reports the number of chromosomes counted in 45 species of Japanese and European alpine-plants.
From this and the previous paper (Tables 1 and 2), we can see that the alpine-plants which belong to Ranunculaceae are generally diploid and those that belong to Rosaceae are polyploid covering from 4x to 10x.
