The author has described in this report the mode of occurrence and inheritance of various albino types. There are, in rice, various albino or alike type genes. For normal. chlorophyll development, coexistence of three kinds of genes, Al, Xa and Ch is necessary, and the combination of Al, Xa and ch produces chlorina, while Al, xs and al produce xantha and albino respectively.
