6. Acrylic Rubber

Abstract

Acrylic rubbers (ACM) obtained by co-polymerization of some acrylic monomers are known as specialty rubbers, which are classified as high temperature and oil resistant rubbers. Acrylic rubbers are widely used in the automotive industry such as materials for seal, hose, and so on. In this paper, synthetic method and basic properties of acrylic rubbers produced industrially are reported.
