Indicator to Mechanical Design of Vibration Isolation and Damping by Mechanical Models

Abstract

Vibration isolation and vibration damping are explained using the dynamic models, and it is clearly shown that they are based on essentially different principles. In the result, indicator to each of the design of isolation materials and damping materials is described from a dynamic viewpoint.
