Abstract
A direct proportionality relationship between the mechanical relaxation spectra and the molecular weight distribution of an amorphous polymer, which had been proposed in the preceding paper, was tested on the five sets of experimental data from the samples differing widely in their glass temperature, average molecular weight and shape of molecular weight distribution.
It is found therefrom that the proposed relationship is applicable with an unexpectedly high accuracy to the amorphous polymers in general.
