Abstract
Initial tack was investigated with the aqueous solution of ammonium neutralized ethylacrylate-acrylic acid copolymer (EA-AA) and ethylacrylate-methacrylic acid copolymer (EA-MAA). The EA-AA aqueous copolymer had the excellent finger tack and spinnability, therfore, had the excellent initial tack. Viscosity and spinnability were affected by the mole ratio of the acid monomer in this copolymer.
The CR latex blended with this EA-AA aqueous copolymer had the better initial tack and the better adhesion force than that of original CR latex.
