Abstract

I n late years the fresh water cultured pearl greatly accomplishes a change. Amount of production of the fresh water cultured pearl in Japan is very few, but is continuing now although being small. I introduce the cultured current situation and the characteristic of the Kasumigaura fresh water cultured pearl as I obtained an opportunity to visit the nursery of Kasumigaura.
