Development of HAP carrier with micro-porosities

Abstract

In order to develop a carrier that the cell and soft tissue could take in, the sintering of the HAP, which was prepared by a wet method, was examined by using a spark plasma sintering method. When the HAP was plasma-sintered at 400-600 oC, the occupied ratio of the HAP in the obtained block was under 40 % and the block was very porous.
