Surface modification of titanium by etching in concentrated acid -Application to pretreatment for veneering of crown and bridge resins-

Abstract

We reported previously that concentrated acids had great effects on the surface topography of cp titanium. Especially,the etching in concentrated sulfuric acid was the most adequate surface modification for cp Ti. In the present study,we applied this etching to the pretreatment for veneering of crown and bridge resins.
