Abstract

Anodic polarization test in 0.9% NaCl solution was carried out due to examine corrosion resistance of Ti-40mol%Zr alloy which have superior mechanical properties. As a result, Ti-40%Zr alloy showed wide range passive state area same as CP-Ti and Ti-6Al-7Nb alloy, and had superior corrosion resistance.
