Abstract
The purpose of this study was clarification of the effect of silane primer treatment on the surface structure and the cross-section structure of the TiO2-coating on the acrylic resin for denture base under a scanning electron microscope (SEM). The silane primer treatment made rougher surface and thicker reaction layer than the TiO2- coating only. This results imply the silane primer promote the adhesion between the TiO2-coating and acrylic resin.
