Abstract
Clean, silanized and sized silica-glass fiber reinforced composites (FRCs) can be used for clinical applications such as resin-bonded prosthesis. Effects of thermocycling on differently sized unidirectional and woven silica-glass fiber reinforced composites has been evaluated. Thermocycling causes reduction on the flexural strength of woven fiber reinforced composites (FRCs), however unidirectional FRCs are not affected by thermocycling.
