Abstract
In this paper the author tried to test for comparing different groups of lung cancer treatment results with right-censored survival-time patterns using a general ized-Wilcoxon test, and examined the following data.
The data was shown the survival-time patterns of 100 patients treated by Cobalt 60 radiation therapy without surgical operation and its control 152 patients for lung cancer who were hospitalized at the Tohoku University Hospital during July 1961 and April 1968 by reporting Kanno & Ito.
The result was that was significant difference between above two groups at the 0.1 percent level.
