In Java, . V. A. Calotinoid and V. C. found in cutaneous leprosy patients' blood were recognized slightly diminished in number. In nervous leprosy their numbers showed little change from healthy people. Judging from this survey, it seems that lack of vitamin is rather caused by leprous abnormality or developed symptoms than it is traced up to be cause of the disease.
