The orator made a speech on the several problems and recent advances of researches for the tuberculosis in connection with leprosy.
Bacteriology of acid-fast bacillus on the standpoint of morphology, biological properties, chemical components, cultural properties and modes of bacillus in the host was explained; allergy and immunity in tuberculosis were discussed; studies on the attenuated tubercle baiclli for the vaccination against tuberculosis were reported and finally the recent advances in the chemotherapy of tuberculosis were noted.
