Abstract
Cognitive control of the prefrontal cortex (PFC) plays a critical role in human verbal working memory in which higher information processing and storage function work together in the dual task. Executive functions in performing the reading span test (RST) or listening span test (LST) were discussed using fMRI in terms of individual differences and capacity constrained of healthy adults including elderly people.
