A Design Process Model for Small Scale Platforms

– from the Three Viewpoints of Designing for Forms, Values and Motivations

Abstract

This paper describes a design process model to be shared by designers and the people committed to the platform where the project takes place. The model is for small-scale activity platforms, aiming to empower the people committed (non-designers) to activate their intrinsic motivations to gain ownership of their own activity and enable them to drive design projects.
