Development of physical computing artwork (Wind Color Meter) to visualize wind conditions

Abstract

Environmental information such as weather information is indispensable to our life and culture. Therefore, in this study, we have attempted to develop a physical computing artwork to visualize wind conditions. We conducted measurements on the wind in the surrounding area and produced the artwork named Wind Color Meter, whose LED lights change colors in accordance with the reading recorded on the anemometer.
