Abstract
This is the second report from the study of building up the new teaching seminar in Career Psychology, which is designed for undergraduate students to cultivate fundamental competencies for career development. To begin with, we visualized the relationship between those and running curriculum. Therefore, the present study focuses onto the educational effects of running curriculum, to see how students realize their educational achievement by taking several seminars. According to the survey with the senior students, the curriculum has been well appreciated since it was helpful to learn and develop fundamental competencies such as ‘logical thinking’, ‘cooperative attitudes’, ‘skilled listening’ and ‘sense of responsibility’. Although these students rather felt positive and satisfied with these outcomes, teaching staffs including professors are requesting them to be more positive and aggressive to make contributions to the social relationships by themselves, in order to succeed in their career. The further discussion will be continued in the next report, by conducting the following survey with the different age groups such as sophomores and juniors.
