This study examined the feasibility of using 3D data generated by LiDAR to assess home environments in the healthcare field. Three occupational therapists measured predefined locations on 3D scans obtained from actual residences. The results showed high inter-rater reliability (ICC = 0.979), with most errors falling within clinically acceptable ranges. However, longer distances tended to produce greater deviations. This method enables easy sharing and visual inspection of home environments, suggesting practical applicability in rehabilitation and discharge planning.
