Abstract
The Lake Ogawara in Aomori Prefecture is the brackish lake, which connects the Pacific Ocean by the Takase river. The Takase river estuary is the tidal river. Field observation of water temperature and salinity was performed in order to investigate characteristics of horizontal and vertical distribution in the lake from August, 2002 to March, 2003. These results show seasonal changes of water temperature and salinity.
