Abstract
To make clear the effects of lodging on maize yield, grain yield, yield components, and forage yield in lodging years were cnmpared with those in standing years for 22 years data of weather response experiment. Lodging caused grain yield loss through decrease of kernels number per ear without effects on percentage sterile plants and 100 kernel weight. Forage yield was not affected by lodging, but decrease of ear weight was recognized, which caused loss of the yield of total nutrient.
