Development of a muography simulation system using PHITS code and PARMA model

Abstract

  We have developed a simulation system of muography based on PHITS + PARMA model. The simulation system is made for estimation of measurement time and investigation of degradation of infrastructure building. In the present paper, we show the architecture of the simulation system and its feasibility. The simulation system reproduce experimental cosmic-ray muon distribution. Furthermore, appropriate muography image could be calculated for a simple geometry.
